The ‘Open Arms, Caring Spirit’ artwork was created by David Williams to symbolise Richmond Fellowship Queensland’s (RFQ’s) commitment to First Nations people and their safety.
At the heart of the artwork is an organisation with humble beginnings; a pioneering community of people growing together to become a leading, future-focussed mental health provider for First Nations people. Having humbly served First Nations communities for many years, RFQ’s cultural connections are strong. But by working to be more inclusive than ever before, it can continue to be a place of safety, compassion, and connection for all Australians.
RFQ aims to hold a special place in the hearts of those it serves. Its work is undertaken by a diverse, dedicated, and committed team with a clear mission and values. When it takes authentic steps to ensure all Australians can see themselves in everything it does, its connections with First Nations clients, colleagues, and communities can only grow stronger.
And by continuing to open its arms to anyone in need of our support, RFQ’s caring spirit can inspire hope and recovery for years to come.
