The Every Day Counts campaign and animation brings the audience into the world of Jimmy and Sam the Dog (voiced by Sam Thaiday) as together they face the every day challenges of going to school. With a community driven process, Gilimbaa concepted, scripted and animated a campaign that brings together fun characters and relevant issues for children and their education. Turning everyone’s favourite Indigenous All Stars into animated characters, the campaign has had tremendous impact and traction in community.
The animation was also extended and developed into a comic book. This explored scenarios from the animation and also introduced extra dilemmas for Jimmy and Sam to overcome.
