Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (ATSILS): Which Way Campaign Resources

The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Legal Service (ATSILS) is a community-based legal assistance organisation established in 1972 to advance and protect the legal and human rights of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

The Which Way project is a collaboration of key legal assistance providers and peak bodies from the Queensland Legal Assistance Forum working together for the benefit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and other vulnerable communities across Queensland.

Gilimbaa worked with ATSILS and partners to develop a series of legal education media resources focussed on enhancing access to legal services by vulnerable community members. The resources will help community members navigate the basics of the justice system and better equip them with the basic knowledge to uphold their legal rights when dealing with police or attending court.

The Gilimbaa team created the campaign look and feel, wrote scripts, designed storyboards, and developed bespoke illustrations, before producing three animations, a poster series, and social media tiles for this important project.
