International Didgeridoo Musician and Cultural Performer
David has over 20 years experience performing locally, nationally and internationally for a range of clients from well known multinational companies to small community organisations. His credentials have him in high demand due to his versatility of working with a range of client requests.
Be it solo performances, larger ensembles, his performances allow the audience to walk away with a unique and special experience hearing the ancient voice of Australia, that of the didgeridoo.
David’s classical music training combined with his knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture, passed down to him by his Elders of his community, and language group of the Wakka Wakka people, puts him in a unique position to work with a range of fellow musicians, composers and event organisers to bring about a unique and versatile delivery of didgeridoo performances.
Throughout his career, David has worked on and performed for a wide range of high profile events, including the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade’s Public Diplomacy programs (2012-present) in Bangkok and Laos, The 2012, and 2016 Australian Olympic Homecoming Event
for Qantas (Televised Live), The Australian Bushfire Memorial Event in Westminster Abbey, organised by the Australian High Commission and the Olympic Opening Ceremony in Beijing, 2008.
