ORIGIN OF A NAME

Gilimbaa means 'today' in the language of the Wakka Wakka people of central Queensland.

For us it symbolises our individual journeys, skills, and history which have brought us together and which are shaping our future.

SWINE FLU CAMPAIGN


Queensland Health approached Gilimbaa to create an education campaign to stop the spread of swine flu and influenza in Queensland Indigenous communities.

The campaign will be the first high level influenza education campaign to be rolled out to Indigenous communities.
