Bushfire Memorial Service London

Aboriginal artist and performer David Williams travelled to London to perform at a memorial service for the victims and survivors of Victoria's bushfires held at Westminster Abbey on March 31.
The event, organised by a group of high profile London-based Australians, will give Australian expatriates a chance to congregate and show their support for those affected by the fires.
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd attended the service along with Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall.
As Creative Director of Indigenous communication agency Gilimbaa, David is no stranger to such high profile events, having performed at the Opening Ceremony of the Beijing Olympics last year.
"Having seen the terrible events unfold on television last month, this is an opportunity to show my support in some small way for the survivors of such a tragedy" David said. "It's a good way for Australians based in London to donate to a worthy cause back home".
